The Detroit Lions are the subject of HBO’s Hard Knocks training camp edition.

The show provided insight into their preparations for the 2022 NFL season.

There were iconic moments like Malcolm Rodriguez’s salsa dancing, Aidan Hutchinson’s rendition of Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” and jamal williams‘ impassioned speech after practice.

There are also the competitive banter between the defensive coordinator Aaron Glen and assistant head coach Duce Staley.

But the star of the show got a boost when “Rap God” made his way to Lions training camp.

The NFL tweeted: “@Eminem ready to put them on and hit the field with the @Lions. Slim Shady at the WR slot machine?

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee interacted with some Lions players in his spare time.

He also reiterated that he can contribute to the team on the pitch.

“I said, I’m here for any position. I’m here,” Eminem said.

The Detroit native also mentioned, “We’ve got a good team this year, man. Let’s go!”

Someone replied, “We gotta get you to the games this year, man.”

To which, the hip-hop icon replied, “I said I would put my shoelaces on anytime. Like, I go to every game, I’ll stay on the sidelines, and if you need to put me in, put me in.

Eminem, the musical genius

His football skills may still be under investigation, but the mystery of this one doesn’t take away from his genius as a musician.

He has sold over 220 million records worldwide and became the top-selling male musical artist in the United States during the 2010s.

Billboard also named him Artist of the Decade for the 2000s.

Marshall Bruce Mathers III also won 15 Grammy Awards, eight American Music Awards, 17 Billboard Music Awards and an Oscar for Best Original Song for “Lose Yourself” in the movie 8 Mile.
