The National Football League (NFL) has announced a new collaboration with an online trading and investment company, IG. As per the agreements, the company will serve as the presenting partner for all three 2022 NFL regular season games in London.
This new agreement involves the recognition of the brand as a main partner of NFL UK. The deal begins at the start of this season’s opening international game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on October 2 between the Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints.
Under the agreement, IG will gain presence at both London venues, including Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Wembley Stadium. Additionally, IG will also receive sponsorship rights for the Player of the Match award. IG will be the main sponsor of Sky Sports’ Sunday NFL coverage going forward, as well as other programming on the pay-TV provider’s dedicated network.
Additionally, IG will receive sponsorship IDs throughout ITV’s live coverage of London games, the ad network’s Super Bowl coverage and weekly highlights from The NFL Show.
After the Vikings-Saints game, the New York Giants will face the Green Bay Packers on October 9. Later, the Denver Broncos will face the Jacksonville Jaguars on October 30.
