Drake earns $2 million betting on NFL games – Billboard

After a tough Thursday night, Drake had a lot to celebrate on Sunday when his NFL three-way bet turned into a $2 million payday. In his latest post promoting online crypto casino Stake, Drizzy showed off his impressive gambling winnings after taking a $208,000 L betting on the Miami Dolphins to beat the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday.

The rapper known for his betting ways made a nice comeback over the weekend when he swept a three-team bet that he said netted more than $2 million. Thanks to the Bills and Cowboys winning their games and Kansas City QB Patrick Mahomes beating Tom Brady and the prime-time Tampa Bay Buccaneers — in a revenge Super Bowl 2021 victory that was teased last week with an ad featuring Beck singing Neil Young’s “Old Man” – Drake touted his major score in an Instagram post.

“Compensated,” he wrote, apparently in reference to last week’s losses. According to Drake’s post, he won a total of $2,000,941. This isn’t the 10th time Drake has bet big on the NFL. In February, Drizzy won $1.26 million based on three bets he made on that year’s Super Bowl. In this three-way bet, he put money on the champion LA Rams to beat the Bengals, as well as wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. scoring at least one touchdown and the famous Rams wide receiver going over 62.5 yards in the game.

Drake would be wise to bet on himself when the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards air tonight (October 4), where he’s the main nominee with 14 names. The Certified Lover MC is up for Hip Hop Artist of the Year, Con Man of the Year, Lyricist of the Year, Best Live Performer and Hip Hop Album of the Year and has earned multiple nominations in the same category.

Her “Way 2 Sexy” collaboration with Future and Young Thug as well as her feature on Future’s “Wait for You” (also with Tems) are nominated for Best Hip Hop Video, Best Collaboration and Song of the Year. His appearances on “Wait for You” along with Jack Harlow’s “Churchill Downs” earned Drake two Sweet 16 nominations: Best Featured Verse, while his “Jimmy Cooks” and 21 Savage earned him a total of three nominations in the best collaboration category
